Lego Minifigures the Muppets Series Review
Happy Thursday, toyNerds!
We finally got our hands on the latest Lego Minifigures series: The Muppets. Let’s dive right in!
As usual, this series comes with 12 characters and each character comes with their own accessories.
Let’s start reviewing each character.
1. Statler
Statler comes with a laptop. We think the head piece is pretty cool, with all the crevices and different details on it. Worth noting: his legs are painted blue and black and the bottom.
2. Waldorf
You can’t have Statler without Waldorf, of course. Waldorf comes with 2 cups and a ZZZ plate.
Worth noting: his legs are the shortened version and are also double colored: brown and black.
3. Dr. Bunsen Honeydew
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew comes with a lab test tube.
Worth noting: his legs are the shortened version and are also double colored: white and black.
4. Beaker
Beaker comes with 1 accessory. Worth noting: his legs has more than 2 colors!
5. Kermit the Frog
This is probably one of the most favorite characters from this series. He comes with a rainbow piece and a guitar. Worth noting: the legs are the shortened version and both the arms and legs are 1 color: green.
6. Miss Piggy
Miss Piggy is probably the most intricate character from this series. She comes with 1 accessory.
Worth noting: her coloring is the most unique, on her arms, legs, and torso. Her bracelet on the left arm is different than the bracelet on the right arm.
7. Rowlf the Dog
Rowlf the Dog comes with a music sheet and a head piece statue.
Worth noting: though subtle, his arms and legs have patterns.
8. The Swedish Chef
The Swedish Chef comes with 2 mixers and what looks like a strawberry friend.
Worth noting: his arms and legs have patterns, which are cool.
9. Gonzo
Gonzo comes with a chicken. We absolutely love the patterns on his shirt and pants!
Worth noting: his arms and legs have patterns too.
10. The Animal
The Animal is probably the character that comes with the most accessories, a drum kit!
Worth noting: though subtle, his arms and legs have patterns too.
11. Janice
Janice comes with an electric guitar.
Worth noting: only the legs have patterns.
12. Fozzie Bear
Fozzie Bear comes with a microphone, a microphone stand, and a banana.
Worth noting: though subtle, his arms and legs have patterns.
The Checklist
This minifigures series is definitely packed with a lot of highly detailed minifigures. We think Lego did a great job in making sure that the characters look very closely to the real ones. This series also has one of the highest numbers of painted legs and arms on the minifigures. It’s always nice to see those details on the arms and legs!
What do you guys think of this series? Which character is your favorite?
