Mega Construx Halo Infinite UNSC Gungoose Gambit Review
Happy weekend, toyNerds! We hope you are having a great relaxing time with your friends/family, wherever you are around the world.
Today we will be looking at another small yet cool set: Mega Construx Halo Infinite UNSC Gungoose Gambit!
This set comes with 4 minifigures:
- Brute Captain
- Brute Warrior
- UNSC Marine
- Jackal Sniper
As you can see in the picture above, Mega Construx sets now come with numbered bags. The instruction manual also lays out the builds based on the bag number. Pretty cool!
Here are the 4 minifigures, each in its own plastic packaging (as a collector, we also think this is pretty cool!)
The build for this set is pretty simple. My daughter and I built this set in about 15 minutes or so.
The Figures
Brute Captain
You can remove the helmet of Brute Captain to reveal his face.
He is pretty scary looking, so let’s put his helmet back on, shall we? :p
Ahhhh, much better!
Brute Warrior
Let’s see if Brute Warrior is gonna be better….
Ok… not really! It looks like they are twins! Oh well…we tried….
UNSC Marine
It’s too bad that UNSC Marine’s helmet is not removable.
Jackal Sniper
The cool thing about this figure is, his sniper goggle is removable.
From the look of his sniper goggle, we thought for sure this guy was going to have 3 eyes…
The Vehicle
The Gungoose Gambit’s wheels utilize the same ball joint and axles system that is also used in Mega Construx Hot Wheels line. We did a review of Mega Construx Hot Wheels Rodger Dodger a while back, which you can find here.
As usual, you can set up some pretty cool poses with these highly articulated Mega Construx minifigures.
What do you think? Would you get this set to add to your collection?
